Too many choices....

Right. Now. I have:
  • Audrey Niffenegger's Her Fearful Symmetry
  • AS Byatt's The Children's Book
  • (And I'm reading The Year of the Flood.)
It's like I'm 9 years old again, standing in what we deemed "The Little Store," down the street from my house, with a dollar in hand and candy to choose from. I love having so many awesome books lined up to read! Now the only question is which to pick once I'm done with the Margaret Atwood.

Which one would you read first?? Are these on your book lists, too?

And, in a totally un-book related topic: we are already listening to Christmas music. Pandora rocks!

They are all on my list.

And, as such, I cannot read any of them.

I am gripped with the fear that I will be disappointed, that my literary idols will let me down. And hello: feast or famine anyone? Because yeah, it's been, like, forever since we'd had new books from any of them, and then whammo! All at once.

Also I put a hold on the new Kingsolver book for someone at work tonight.

it is INSANE!!!!

Amy: Year of the Flood is safe. You WILL NOT be disappointed. I'm loving it; only have 80 pages left.

I do wish I'd read Oryx and Crake again first; I don't remember it a ton, and so I know there is stuff I'm missing. So you are smart to read it first. Just finish Oryx and Crake, take a deep breath, and dive in. Love the Margaret Atwood!

Don't you love Pandora? It's my favorite website in the whole wide world. I put in MoTab on Sundays, and awesome worldly music the rest of the week. Holla!!!
